Mercury Milan and Milan Hybrid feature a new look. From the available automatic bifunctional projector beam headlamps and distinctive Mercury signature waterfall grille to the sleek, sophisticated stylized curves and complementary satin-aluminum accents, Mercury Milan and Milan Hybrid clearly stand out. Quite beautifully.

When the sun goes down, the headlamps automatically turn on. Automatic headlamps activate when outside lighting lessens, for instance, while driving through a tunnel, during inclement weather or at dusk. Bifunctional halogen headlamps are standard on all models. The automatic headlamp feature is standard on the I-4 Premier, V6 Premier and Hybrid models.

Other lighting features include:

* Standard LED taillamps provide a bright, vivid light and illuminate more quickly than traditional bulb taillamps.

* Fog lamps — standard on I-4 Premier, V6 Premier and Hybrid models and available on I-4 Milan — will help guide you through fog, rain, snow, mist and other inclement weather conditions.

* Security approach lamps incorporated in the sideview mirrors, light the ground area around the front doors. The security approach lamps are activated by the remote keyless entry key fob.

The trunk in Milan actually expands to give you more room. With 16.5 cubic feet of trunk space, (11.8 cubic feet in Milan Hybrid) you’ll have room for groceries, suitcases and golf bags. Suppose you have a pair of skis. No problem. The 60/40 split-folding rear seat folds down** to accommodate longer items passed through from the trunk into the interior. If you need even more room, you can fold down the front passenger seat for items up to almost nine feet long. There’s one other convenient trunk feature - a power remote trunk release.

**The rear seat in Milan Hybrid does not fold down because of the location of its 275-volt battery pack.
