Front and rear crumple zones absorb impact forces and direct them away from the passenger compartment. Steel beams in the side doors add structural stability, absorb energy and help reduce cabin intrusion in certain side impacts.

Utilizing advanced sensors to control the deployment of the front airbags* and operation of the safety belt pretensioners, the standard Personal Safety System® provides driver and right-front passenger protection in certain frontal collisions. This system also includes front-passenger occupant sensors.

When the sun goes down, these headlamps come on. Standard automatic headlamps activate when outside lighting lessens, for instance, while driving through a tunnel, during inclement weather or at dusk. The headlamps also feature auto off with delay.

Another lighting feature includes available fog lamps to help guide you through rain, snow, mist and other inclement weather conditions.
