Grand Marquis has a class-exclusive* standard V8 engine. The 4.6L SOHC 16-valve V8 delivers 224 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque — perfect for passing and merging.
Grand Marquis is also a flexible fuel vehicle, which means it can run on regular gas or E85, which is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, or any combination of the two. You simply choose which fuel to use and the vehicle’s onboard computer adjusts the engine for proper operation.
U.S. ethanol comes from corn produced in America, is renewable and has certain advantages over regular gasoline, including lower emissions of greenhouse gases as well as higher octane. There are currently more than 1,500 gasoline fueling stations in the United States that offer E85.
